Our Favorite Scripture Music For Kids To Learn About The Bible
There are many ways to help our children memorize God’s Word, but one of the easiest and probably most fun ways is through music!
We have found some AMAZING options when it comes to scripture music for kids, and hope you and your family find some that you love from this list as well!
Here are our favorite scripture songs and music to listen to at home!

Why should we want to find music that will help our kids learn God’s Word? There are so many reasons!
For one, God has promised that His Word will not return empty or void.
That means when our 1, 2, 4, 7-year-olds (or whatever age) listen to it and really start to take those words in, it WILL accomplish what it has set out to do.
We have that beautiful promise from God from scripture!
There are many ways to memorize God’s Word, but one of the easiest and most fun is through music!
I mean, how many kids’ songs get stuck in your head, or maybe you hear your kids singing them throughout the house?
Even as adults, we remember song lyrics super easily. So even WE can fill our minds with the great scripture music options as well!
The goal is that, in times of need, our kids will pull those verses from their minds with a gentle nudge from the Holy Spirit.
We want them to always remember to turn to God first, in ALL situations!
Fortunately, there are some great scripture music options out there, but I want to share with you what we have personally used and/or heard.
This way, you can try them out for yourself, and so you can start helping your kids memorize verses and hide God’s Word in their hearts through song!
No matter their ages. 😉

Best Scripture Music For Kids:
Here are some of the best options for getting your kids to listen to worship music that will help them learn Bible verses, and most importantly, more about who God is!
I’ve included some of the best scripture music for kids as well as where you can listen to them, free and paid. 🙂
I’ll start with our NUMBER #1 favorite…
1. Seeds Family Worship
These albums and DVDs are hands-down, our favorite scripture music for kids!
While we do own some other CDs with fun, classic songs such as “This Little Light of Mine,” “B-I-B-L-E” and others, sometimes they can get a little… kiddie sounding.
You know what I mean?
While there is nothing wrong with that, it’s so great to have an option that the WHOLE family loves, adults and kids alike!!
Seeds Music is the perfect blend of fun songs kids will love, but also can be listened to over and over without growing tired of them.
They sing songs straight from Scripture, and each album and DVD has a certain theme with verses to fuel that theme (Hope, Love, I Am, Jesus, Character. etc.).
Two of our favorite albums are the Seeds of Faith and Seeds of Character.
The videos are super fun to watch, and our daughter LOVES doing the motions. 🙂
They also have a Youtube channel where you can stream music for free, and offer tons more on their website, including a quarterly subscription box!

2. Yancy Worship Music
We started out listening to Yancy’s Little Praise party through our favorite faith-based streaming service for kids, Go-Minno, and have loved it ever since!
Her songs are fun, upbeat, and really help lead kids into worship and singing songs of praise to God.
Every morning before my daughter goes to preschool, we have it as part of our routine! After breakfast, she’ll listen to Yancy songs with motions until it’s time to go.
It’s such a beautiful thing to watch her do motions and praise the Lord, and just sets a positive tone to the day!
Yancy is also a wonderful person, and shares tons of fun and encouraging things on her Instagram often, and has some great resources for your family on her website.
Our favorite songs: Not Ashamed, L-O-V-E, Strength and Shield
You can check out her Youtube Channel here, her website here, or sign up for Go Minno (get your first month FREE) to access tons of her videos!
3. Steve Green: Hide Em In Your Heart
This one was recommended to me by a friend, and they have been around for a while!
These two albums have a very good mix of slower songs for more serious moments, as well as some upbeat songs to jam to at home or in the car!
They were specifically written with kids in mind, and are very catchy, in a GOOD way!
You will most likely find yourself either singing them or your kids singing them walking around the house.
You can grab both albums in a 2 for 1 deal here on Amazon!
4. The Rizers
This is another favorite of ours, that we listen to on Go Minno – these songs are very upbeat and they are based on different Bible verses!
Some of our favorite songs are: Glory, Glory, Glory (2 Peter 3:18) and Let Us Love One Another (1 John 4:7)
It is a cartoon video, but the songs are so positive, easy to remember, and fun! Our daughter loves jumping up and down and singing along to them. 🙂
You can check out their Youtube channel here!
5. Hidden In My Heart Lullaby
These scripture lullabies are so beautiful, and the perfect way to make sure your kids are falling asleep to God’s words and promises.
There are a few different albums to choose from, but Vol 1 is our favorite!
What better way to send our kids off to dreamland and encourage them to have peaceful dreams?
We pop this CD in our daughter’s portable CD player most nights.
She will either turn them off when she’s ready to sleep OR she falls asleep and we sneak in and turn it off ourselves. 🙂
We have also played this in the car on the way home from long trips like visiting family, or vacation – times when we needed a little help getting her to fall asleep for the ride!
6. Slugs & Bugs
This one has also been recommended to me by MANY others, and we have really loved exploring them!
They are very catchy as well, and I think would be GREAT for younger listeners – maybe toddlers and preschoolers!
What is really fantastic about these CDs, similar to Seeds Music, they are word-for-word scripture songs!!
I could definitely see these being used in kids ministries at church, or for some fun and upbeat scripture learning at home.
They also have a lullaby CD, as well as a Christmas CD! Both are great.
You can listen to most of these albums for free on Amazon Prime Music.
7. Listener Kids
Listener Kids is a newer one for us and I was pretty wowed by it! It kind of reminds me of all of the above options but from one place!
There are fun Sunday school classic-style songs, lullabies, instrumental only, and more upbeat songs that everyone in the family would love.
Our favorite album is the Let It Shine album – these are super fun and don’t have that super “kiddie” vibe but all ages would still enjoy it!
They have every CD and DVD listed on their website, as well as…
- Digital downloads
- T-shirts
- Stuffed animals
- Bible studies
- Stickers and coloring pages
- Plus other printable activities for kids!
You can stream most of their songs free on Amazon Music (ALL on Amazon Music Unlimited), Spotify, Youtube, or purchase them from their website!
Other Great Scripture Music Options For Kids
Here are a few of our other favorite CDs/songs that we listen to, that you may enjoy as well…
**The Kids Bible on CD is a narration through the NT, but includes Bible songs throughout!
Incorporating Scripture Songs Into Your Daily Routine
Now that you have some great options for kids to listen to, how do you incorporate listening to scripture music throughout your day??
Honestly, ANY time!!
We play these songs and CDs during quiet time, while she’s playing independently while doing other fun Bible activities, crafts, or in the car.
You can also play them while cooking dinner, before bed/during bathtime, during your family devotion time… any time!
The good news is, lots of these options can be listened to/streamed for FREE online, which is wonderful!
However, I really enjoy having physical CDs to listen to in the car for a couple of reasons…
One, to save battery on my phone (why is it always low on charge haha!), but also for my daughter to enjoy while playing inside.
We play a lot of the Seeds of Faith CDs as well as the Scripture Lullabies on her portable CD player (we love this one from Amazon), and I like having both TV/phone streaming options as well as the physical CD.
There’s never a “bad time” to listen to scripture music, so anytime that works for your family are great. 🙂
