Our family is the most precious thing we have in this life, so we want to treasure and protect them with all we can!
No matter how big or small your family is, you can pray for them. Everyone is going through a challenging time, so every family member will need some type of help that only God can give!
Powerful Prayers for Family
Praying is one of the easiest ways to spend time with God, and it is super easy to do! You can pray anytime and anywhere.
We love our family, so of course, we want them to be safe, not just from temporal things, but from spiritual things, heartaches, pain, and so much more.
Here are some simple prayers for protection over your family, along with other great prayers for each family member and situations you might be going through.
You can say these prayers in the morning, night, or anytime during the day. Insert your kids or spouse’s names where you can to personalize and strengthen your prayer.
Protection Prayer for My Children
Dear Father in Heaven,
Please watch over and protect my children this day. Keep them safe as they travel. Help them feel my love while they are apart from me. Protect them from physical dangers that may come their way. Please, Father, also protect them from evil temptations and struggles they might face. Help them have the strength to work through the challenges that arise. Be with them until we are reunited.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Prayer for Family Protection and Guidance
Oh Lord,
Guide us this day. Help us find those who need our light so that we may share your love for them. Keep us safe as we depart from our home and family, and help us return when the day is through. Allow your spirit to be present so we can be guided along our journey this day.

Dear Father,
Help (name) to receive the strength they need to be strong and healthy once again. Allow their body to rest, so they can fully heal. Comfort them during this painful time and help them to know exactly what they need to do to regain their health. Send your love and my love to them.

Please heal (name) them from their sickness/injury/ailment. Guide them on their path to recovery. Protect them from further pain and please, Father, bring them relief. Dear God,

Thank you for always watching over my family. I pray now for special emotional help for my children. Help (name) to remember that they are Your Child and that You love them.
